Back at the turn of the century I found myself as the Editor of a Vancouver Technology Magazine called, Computer|Sense. It was just something I decided to do on the side for fun… and, as it turned out, it was incredibly fun.
The highlight of my stint there was interviewing Stan “The Man” Lee, creator or co-creator of such iconic comic book characters as Spider-man, The X-Men, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Thor and far too many others to list here.

Stan had jumped into the Internet ring with both feet and was creating, what he called, “Webisodes,” with a full slate of new superheroes. And because I had been a huge fan since way back in the 1970s, it just seemed natural to feature him in the May/June 2000 issue of Computer|Sense magazine.
So here’s the full interview from back when the Internet was teeming with wild, new ideas.

The second page included artwork of Stan Lee’s new characters.

And if you want a taste of what was cutting-edge comicdom back in 2000, here’s one of Stan Lee’s first Webisodes.
Excelsior!
